Whether you're looking to enhance your skills, connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts, or just enjoy some well-deserved time to create, Sturbridge Sewcations are the perfect getaway. Bring your own projects, meet new friends, and sew to your heart’s content in a welcoming, fun-filled environment.
This year, we will have a couple of themed-based Sewcations.

Sewcations now begin Thursday at 4:00 PM and end Sunday at 3:00 PM!
That means more time to sew, relax, and enjoy the company of fellow makers.
These are not teacher-led retreats — they’re all about working on your own projects at your own pace.
Expect plenty of sewing time, games, and laughter throughout the weekend!
You are not required to stay at the Holiday Inn Express to participate in a Sewcation — but it sure is convenient!
We've arranged a special hotel rate based on the published rate.

Cancellation Policy
Sewcation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations. Tracking cancellations and issuing credits has become very time-consuming, so please review your schedule carefully before registering.
If you are unable to attend a Sewcation, please contact me as soon as possible. Sewcations are very popular and often have waitlists, so your spot may be offered to someone else.
In the event of a family emergency or illness, exceptions may be made at my discretion, and a credit may be issued.
Sewcations are tons of fun. What could be better than quilting with others that have the same interest. You get to meet and see what other quilters are working on. I have gotten more ideas and have finished quilts during sewcations. Highly recommend!
I love getting away with other quilters and Pinwheels makes it sew easy. I took my mother last year as her Christmas present and I am doing it again this year.
