Beach-cation (Sewin' with my gull-friends)
Pack up your bikini, sunscreen and of course, sewing supplies and head to the Beach. That’s right, we are thrilled to host our. second Sewcation at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City, MD. The Grand Hotel is situated right on the ocean, so you can sew, stroll along the boardwalk, take off your shoes, walk in the sand, dip your toes in the ocean and go back and sew some more. The Grand Hotel has several restaurants on premise as well as gift shops for your convenience.
Beach-cation will begin on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at 4:00pm and end on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at noon. The sewing room will be accessible 24 hours a day during those times. Each participant will receive one large 6’ table. We will provide cutting and ironing stations. A kit will be included in your fee. The fee for this Sewcation is $150. Sorry no refunds. (Free Sewcations won in Sturbridge do not qualify for this Sewcation.)
Guests can call 410-289-6191 or 1-800-447-6779 to make the hotel reservation. Be sure to mention Pinwheels or Sewcation to receive the Group Rate. The PIN code is PW26. Reservations made through a third party (Booking.com, etc.) will not be eligible for the group rate.
