Happy Summer!

Not that we've seen the sun here in the Northeast! But, the rain isn't going to dampen our spirits.

We are busy designing new quilts and project for the Fall.

First, I'm excited about our newest Block of the Month. We call it TachiMachi. TachiMachi means "suddenly". Why that name? Well, our Block of the Month TachiMachi is a quilt as you go project and before you know it, "suddenly" you have a quilt. (Plus, I like the way the words play in my mouth.) More about this under Monthly Daiwabo.

Another exciting monthly project is our Project Daiwabo. That's right! a complete project using Daiwabo fabric every month. These are small projects meant to be completed in a couple of nights. More about that also in Monthly Daiwabo.

Many have asked if I can get the ball and chain zippers from Japan. Well, I'm happy to say we now have them and will continue to ship them to Pinwheels. Check under Embellishments.

And finally, the latest collection, Pireud 16 will be arriving around July 8. (It then must clear customs.) However, if you want any of this fabulous new fabric, order soon as it sells out quickly. We will get it out to you ASAP.

Also, this year we've gone back to a paper newsletter. We used to do one years ago. We felt it was time to start one again. We're trying to publish it three times a year. We will happily send one with your order. I hope you enjoy it.
